The significance of Yeshua in prophecy and fulfilling the Feasts
Yahweh told Moses of the coming Messiah
(Deu 18:19) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
Did Yeshua fulfil the prophecy?
(Act 3:20) And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
(Act 3:21) Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
(Act 3:22) For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
(Act 3:23) And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
Yeshua acted in the NAME of his Father
(Joh 5:43) I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
The Israelites were brought out of Egypt (Babylon) by Moses and we will come out of Babylon by following Yeshua.
The first four feasts were fulfilled in our Messiah with his crucifixion, death and resurrection from the dead.
The feasts of the seventh month will be fulfilled with His return to earth.
In the New Testament we are called several times to repent and believe the gospel which the Messiah preached on earth.
During these feasts we must examine ourselves and repent from our sins and turn away from our sinful lifestyle. There must first be a change in our life before we can claim the promises from Yahweh through Yeshua.
Your life must show if you really accepted the sacrifice that Yeshua made for you.
(Jer 31:32) Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
(Jer 31:33) But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Yeshua told his disciples what was going to happen to him
(Luk 18:32) For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
(Luk 18:33) And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
(Luk 18:34) And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
Yeshua commemorated the passover with his disciples on the evening of the fourteen day and told them straight forward that his body and his blood would be offered for his followers. The blood of the offerings in the old covenant would be replaced by his body and his blood.
The following words of Yeshua now have so much more significance.
(Mar 14:23) And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
(Mar 14:24) And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
(Mar 14:25) Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
(Mat 26:27) And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
(Mat 26:28) For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
(Mat 26:29) But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
(Mat 26:30) And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
What do we receive through the blood of Yeshua
(Joh 17:2) As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
(Joh 17:3) And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
(Joh 17:4) I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
(Joh 17:5) And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
(Heb 9:12) Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
(Heb 9:13) For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
(Heb 9:14) How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
(Heb 9:15) And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
(Joh 17:21) That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
(1Jn 1:2) (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
(1Jn 1:3) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
(1Jn 1:4) And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
(1Jn 1:5) This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
(1Jn 1:6) If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
(1Jn 1:7) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
(1Jn 1:8) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
What will we receive from Yahweh through His Son
(1Jn 5:11) And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
(1Jn 5:12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
Coming of the Messiah
(Mar 13:32) But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Yeshua warns us explicitly about His coming
(Mar 13:5) And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
John warns us explicitly to never deny Yeshua as the Messiah.
(1Jn 2:22) Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
(1Jn 2:23) Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Make sure you know the Messiah because you were not warned without a reason.
Read Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21:5–36 to heed to His warnings about His coming.
