Season 1

Season 1 is the start of the Zadok calendar year and starts straight after the Vernal Equinox. This is when the sun is the highest on the equator and heading north for spring and summer for the northern hemisphere.

Month 1 Details

The first day of the first month / season / year to start on the 4th day of the week

(Exo 12:2) This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
  • The 1st day to be on the 4th weekday
  • The 30th day to be on the 5th weekday (30 days)
  • 4 Sabbath days – The first Sabbath of the year is therefore on the 4th day of the new month/year
